Using the app

The Rise & Nourish food journal app is for Rise & Nourish coaching clients. We set up your account and decide which features are switched on for you. By signing in, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Not medical advice

The app and our coaching are educational and are not medical care. Nothing in the app diagnoses, treats, or cures any condition. Nutrition estimates are approximate, and trends can be wrong. Always talk with your doctor about medical decisions, and call your local emergency number in an emergency.

Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your login.
Give accurate information so your journal and your coach's guidance fit you.
Tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Your information

Your journal entries, photos, and results belong to you. You give us permission to use them to coach you and to run the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Wearables

Connecting a wearable such as Oura is optional. It depends on that company's service and your own membership with them, which we do not control. Imported data is for your coaching and your own information. You can disconnect at any time.

Please do not

Use the app for anything unlawful, or to upload content you do not have the right to share.
Try to access another client's information, or to break or overload the app.
Copy, resell, or share the app or its content.

Availability

We work to keep the app running, but it is provided as is. It may be unavailable at times, features may change, and information may occasionally be lost or wrong.

Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your information. We may end access if these terms are broken, or when our work together ends.

Limits on responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rise & Nourish is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app, and total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for coaching in the three months before the claim. This does not limit anything the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept the update.
